As a DVSA registered Authorised Association we provide approved training materials to individuals and organisations applying to become ADR training providers for the first time, or existing providers wishing to change the material they use.
Training providers must apply to the DVSA for approval. Information about making a first-time application can be found here. We can provide support and guidance to subscribers in their initial DVSA application and subsequent renewals where required.
An annual subscription gives authorised use of the following DVSA approved materials:
- PowerPoint presentations for all ADR modules (Core, Packages, Tanks and Hazard Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9)
- Candidate notes (provided as a pdf file so that subscribers may print themselves)
- Instructor notes (provided as a pdf file so that subscribers may print themselves)
- Training videos for Hazard Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9
- Fire practical training simulator
- Fire extinguisher laser hose attachment (for use with the fire training simulator)
- Training material updates as required
Subscribers will become a DVSA approved training provider in their own right, with responsibility for delivering training courses to the required standard. They are also required to meet all administrative requirements, including scheduling courses, enrolling candidates and conducting online exams correctly.
We can also provide the following at extra cost:
- Ongoing support and advice
- Instructor training and mentoring
- Training equipment supply
Annual subscription to Transport & DGSA Compliance Ltd (can begin at any time):
- 1 to 5 instructors - £300 (VAT exempt)
- 5 to 10 instructors - £600 (VAT exempt)
- 10 or more instructors - £900 (VAT exempt)
DVSA fees:
- Initial application for approval using accredited training materials from an authorised association - £800 (VAT exempt)
- Annual renewal for approval using accredited training materials from an authorised association - £400 (VAT exempt)
